What are we really trying to fix when we change the thing everyone can see?

Constantinople; or, The Hair Plug Play is a new comedy about three friends traveling to Istanbul for hair transplants – and discovering that what they’re really trying to fix may have nothing to do with hair.

Written by Isaiah Stavchansky, directed by Megumi Nakamura, and presented by Glitch Stage and Film, the world premiere runs for 17 shows only, August 21–September 6, at JACK in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.

An update for the true believers out there. We are rounding the bend and getting very close to finishing this film. Post has been a wonderful, challenging and creatively nourishing time, and I’m so grateful to all my collaborators who are helping us push it across the finish line.

we could still use your support… I’m so proud of this film and for the performances in it and I can’t wait for you to see it. Any amount that you can send our way would be incredibly helpful. These last funds help us finish the film, apply to festivals and continue to compensate some of the hard-working individuals on this film. 🔗 in bio!

And as a little enticement…

This week, I’ll be rolling out a few videos of our star, Chandra, talking about what it was like to work on “A LONG DISTANCE” this past spring. She documents the challenges, the process, and her feelings about being on set for the first time.

It’s a remarkable insight into a true artist’s spirit.
I’m so proud of her, as I know you will be too.
