This past Sunday we featured a one-night only special menu at Razza with dishes all inspired by recipes from Rome, Katie Parla’s latest cookbook: eggplant parm, concia, pasta e ceci, cacio e pepe pizza, broccolo romanesco pizza and a special pera cotta dessert to finish off the night. Every dish reminded us of her dedication to telling the story of a city through its ingredients and traditions.

Check out this just-released cookbook - order through @katieparla!

Named one of NJ.com’s Top 40 Restaurants in New Jersey, Razza’s Pizza lives up to its national acclaim 🍕 The wood-fired pies—from burrata to pepperoni to spinach—are exceptional, and the house-made bread with cultured butter tasting is truly unforgettable. With praise from outlets like The New York Times and a relentless focus on quality from chef/owner Dan Richer, every detail shines—from the salads to the desserts.

Last night @foodandwine had the honor of hosting NYC’s culinary community for a screening of the upcoming @a24 biopic Tony. Turns out, making a movie about Anthony Bourdain’s life through the filter of 3 chaotic months in the summer of 1976 in Provincetown where he found work as a dishwasher in a pirate ship of a kitchen makes for good cinema. Anyone inspired by Bourdain’s work will find this film moving, and it will inspire a whole new generation of cooks and writers. As @gg30000 said after, go ahead and shoot the sequel. I’m sharing more thoughts in the September issue Ed Letter due out next month when the film hits theaters. Take care of yourselves and one another.

#̲G̲A̲M̲E̲C̲H̲A̲N̲G̲E̲R̲ 🤯 This man is an innovator! 🙌

The #ReverseFold creates a #SauceOnTop super bite! This was caught by Scott Weiner of @scottspizzatours and we assume it’s going to be the next big trend in #Pizza!!!

Haters are going to hate, but we say stop the hate: Innovate! Sure there may be some challenges involved but we bet the first guy that picked up a soccer ball and ran around mid game was laughed at too, and now look at @usarugby or the @nfl 😁 Right @patmcafeeshow?

If you love sauce and adventure, this is your invitation to join the revolution 💪 🍅 🇺🇸 🫵
