The most meaningful adaptations come from external cues, when we aren’t asking a player to execute mechanics but allowing them to naturally find what works within some kind of game context.

Offsets towards the oppo and pull sides create tougher angles for how the barrel approaches contact. We added in the orange bow net as a physical sight-line, thinking above the net when it’s shifted to the left side of the field and through the net when shifted right.

It was cool to see Dante maintain his pull side ball flight as we shifted the net over to the right side of the field! Our chalk talk throughout was to always start with his ‘net’ to the right of 2nd base, because he feels at his best when he can spray liners through the middle. When he has that feel dialed in, he can start to move his ‘net’ to the left to let himself start to cut it loose and drive the ball into left center and straightaway left. On the flip side, when he feels himself getting cheaty to the pull side he can just move his ‘net’ back to the right and get back to his ground zero.

Environment dictates movement.

@danteb_2 spent the summer COOKING 🧑‍🍳 🍳

From day 1, the focus has been simple for Dante. Increase force production and be an athlete in the box; tested through demanding environments and constant exposure to varied pitch shapes and sizes.

The proof is in the pudding!

‼️College Retest‼️

Good first retest from 2026 LaSalle commit @danteb_2 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Compared to his initial evaluation, we saw an increase in bat speed from 64.6 to 67.3mph🔥🔥

We also saw a nice shift in his ball flight quality: eval day saw higher EVs when he was hitting the ball low and on the ground, while retest day saw his higher EVs come on balls hit in the air ⚡️⚡️

Adding some pop, producing better quality hits, and challenging him with game like training environments 💯💯

We wanted to take a moment to shoutout our #ATeam athletes that received honors this season. These athletes demonstrated the hard hat mentality showing up after practices, games, late nights; and the work has shown through. We want to congratulate all of our athletes on an amazing year, and wish good luck to those still alive in the playoffs. Looking forward to an amazing offseason with you all.
