Today I put my uniform on for the last time.

I have been trying to find words to describe the last 5.5 years in The U.S. Air Force, and all I can say is thank you. Thank you to my wife for the unending support and love. Thank you to my family for their help and guidance. Thank you to my brothers and sisters I served with, and the leaders who guided me and taught me so much about growing up, leading, learning, and life. I was blessed with the best job in the military @joinairforceeod and i couldn’t be more thankful.

I selfishly ask that instead of saying thank you to me, that you instead text someone you know serving and ask them how they are doing especially around the holiday season, and send prayers to my friends who will serve now and in the future.

Life is full of unknowns, but today I chose what I do know, that no amount of money or security or perks will mean more to me than being home with my family.

2024 in reverse. I am so grateful for the life Emiley and I have built together. This last year was extremely tough, rewarding, stressful, challenging, and beautiful. Happy new year 🫶🏼
