Ordinary weekend for the crew winning 3 out of 8 fights over state titles

Congratulations to @j4ke_98 for winning 3 fights in as many days to claim the novice 75kg title, boxing well against tough, willing opponents

Special mention to @jaydentraj for putting his best performance to date, but got an interesting decision - the opposition coach apologised

The thing about being at your at lowest ebb, is there’s only direction to move…

Lifetime of memories and companionship built

Very grateful to have been with this team over the past week at the golden gloves

At the start of the year we emphasised the importance of their performances and I can truly say I’m happy with all of their performances - we could easily have had 7 finalists

Wins over international opponents, pushing a world champion life n death, a first interstate bout and a couple of ring returns from big hiatuses

Special thanks to @matty_lc_smith who gave his time and knowledge, we’re lucky to have you as part of the team/family.

2026 has been big, and it’s not done yet! #brizzibros #est68 #warfare #goldengloves #credereincausam

International Golden Gloves 2026 🥊

First interstate bout done, going down to this year’s 70kg silver medalist after an extremely competitive fight. Didn’t get as many fights as I had hoped for, but I’m still proud of my performance and everything we put into the trip.

Big thanks to @theboxingshopbrisbane for the solid rounds and hospitality!

Thanks to all of our tournament sponsors, this trip wouldn’t have been possible without you guys. Also, a massive thanks to @brizzisam & @matty_lc_smith for all the support and guidance throughout the week. Same goes the rest of the team Brizzi still in Melbourne.

Congrats to all the other boys who competed this weekend too. It was an insane effort all around. 🥇

4 fights down this year and we’re just getting started. Can’t wait for what’s to come 👀 📈
