First full year for me in GT3 and wow was it crazy! I have learnt so much and had an epic time, cannot thank @optimummsport , @edge_management & my teammates @adam_smalley4 / @freddie_tomlinson_62 enough for this year.

The sun sets on another incredible season of GT World Challenge Europe!

Both Optimum McLarens finished inside the Top 5 in their respective classes after 3 hours, following an incredible fightback from each of our six drivers. We didn’t just survive the contact, the multiple FCY restarts and the on-track chaos in Portimão - we absolutely nailed it, made all the right moves and ultimately finished strong.

It’s frustrating to miss out on a final podium to close out the season; there’s no question that we deserved it after all the perseverance, dedication, and resilience the entire team has shown up with - but, as they say, that’s racing!

We did, however, finish third in the GT World Challenge Europe Silver Cup Teams’ Championship - a remarkable feat for Optimum’s first full season, which saw us contest both Endurance and Sprint Cup rounds across 10 action-packed weekends throughout Europe. Our final position in the standings simply wouldn’t have been possible without the newly-crowned Silver Cup vice-champions: Mikey Porter and Guilherme Oliveira, who were, of course, supported by Dante Rappange for their Endurance Cup campaign.

We can’t wait to go even further in 2027!
