NEW BEGINNINGS • I could not fully move on and enter our new season without first honoring our previous season.

I can’t believe it’s already been over a month since we left… I’ve been wanting to make this post for a while, but I’ve had the most difficult time finding the right words to say. How do you say goodbye to a piece of you? How do you say goodbye to people who left such an impact and a mark on your life? The answer is you don’t—you carry them with you.

The city of Tampa, the beautiful people of Courageous, the memories, the moments, the lessons, the laughters, the tears… ALL OF IT is forever tattooed on my heart.

I want to take a moment to thank and honor Pastors Benjamin & Wendy Houpe. Thank you for believing in me and for leading me by example with a FEARLESS faith. You are some of the most genuine, humble, passionate, and excellent leaders I’ve ever met and had the privilege to do life with and serve under. To every student in NXT GEN YTH, I love you and I am so proud of you. To all of the lifelong friends we made along the way, thank you for making this last season so special. I like to say that “once Courageous, always Courageous,” so Courageous, you’ll be seeing Dro again. We’re yoked together for life!

When I reflect on these last three years, my heart overflows with so much LOVE & GRATITUDE. Courageous, thank you for making be a better leader, a better servant, and a better follower of Jesus. Getting to serve at and be a part of Courageous will forever be one of the biggest honors of my life. I love you more than you know.

While I’m so so grateful for our time in TPA, I can’t wait to see what the Lord has in store for us back in MIA.
