Our Story Goes On

Life has been pretty crazy lately. Between teaching, performing, touring, getting ready for a move, and everything else going on, I realized I never posted about how meaningful my experience with The Hunchback of Notre Dame was.

Playing Frollo was one of the most challenging and rewarding roles I’ve ever taken on. It stretched me as a performer and pushed me in ways I didn’t expect. As demanding as the role was, I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to tell this story.

Honestly, what has stuck with me the most is how relevant the message feels right now. It’s a story about compassion, prejudice, judgment, belonging, and seeing the humanity in people who are different from us. I think that’s something we could all use a little more of.

I’m also so grateful for the people I got to share this experience with. The cast, crew, and creative team were filled with incredibly talented people, but more importantly, genuinely good people. Spending months creating something together creates a bond that’s hard to explain, and I miss seeing all of you.

I’ve been so busy moving on to the next thing that I never stopped to say thank you. Thank you for the hard work, the support, the friendships, the laughs, and for making this production such a meaningful experience.

Love you guys.

I don’t think I’ll ever have the right words to express how much this show has meant to me. All I know is that this production has changed me for the better. I feel extremely grateful that I got to share the stage with so many talented people and get to call them my friends. This production has felt so safe and uplifting. Thank you to everyone on and off stage willing to share this powerful story 💛
