Life 😊

Live life for content. Think of everything as gaining material to tell a story. The goal doesn’t necessarily need to be for vanity; the most important person in the audience to entertain is yourself, whether it be in the present, or an older you reflecting upon a fond memory

Embrace trying new things. You may think the opportunity cost is high, but in reality, you are way worse at accomplishing a list of things in a set amount of time than you think you are, and by the time you’re done thinking, you may have already missed the opportunity to do anything you were even considering. What’s more important than doing the right thing is doing anything at all. It starts with leaving the room and going outside. Moreover, once you trailblaze and do something out of your comfort zone, it becomes familiar and much, much easier to do again. Think of doing unpleasant things at a micro scale as practice

Don’t hold resentment, whether it be towards institutions, systems, or other people. Don’t judge and don’t be cynical. Pessimism directed outwards spreads to you and makes you have a negative perception on all things in life, even good things. The people you are criticizing are busy living their best lives, and so can you if you let go of the shame you feel from being watched

Treat everything with overwhelming enthusiasm and excitement. Let curiosity drive you to learn about new things and new people. Become excited and overjoyed even for mundane things. Dedicate great time, effort, energy, and money to the things you love and care about. Obsess over simple things
