Meet your SO mentors Daphne, Hayden, and Avery! ⚡️
—

WHY STAFF ❓

Daphne: FLASH made such an impact on my freshman year, and I want to be able to give incoming freshmen the same experience!

Hayden: As the youngest in my family, I’ve always wanted to be a role model for someone younger, and joining the staff gives me the perfect opportunity to fulfill that dream.

Avery: My mentors did so much for me, so I wanted to step into that same role for new freshmen

ITS HERE‼️ OUR FIRST MENTOR SPOTLIGHT POST!!! CAN I GET A DRUMROLL PLEASE 🥁🥁🥁

OH MY GOSH ITS DAPHNE KAUFMAN!! 🥳💜⚡️ Daphne is a Psychology Major (aka empath 🤞🤞) from Houston, Texas 🌉🗽🏝️ (real Houston)!!! She loves Sweet Eugene’s ☕️ (don’t talk to her til she’s had her coffee 😹), Noah Kahan 🎶, Dance (especially the griddy #griddycircle 💃🕺💃), and singing loudly for everyone to hear 🎤 (she’s really good… on mute!). She also enjoys making jokes that don’t land 😅🫪, fall weather 🍁🍂, the TV show How I Met Your Mother (watched it 3️⃣ times so far), and bed rotting 🛌🤩😎.

Daphne DOESN’T like ❌❌❌ cilantro 🌿, people who chew loud (she might actually freak out 😃), slow walkers (“I love how everyone is walking backwards today!”), traffic 🚗🚙🚗🚙🚗🚙, and having to repeat a joke that would’ve only worked the first time she said it but now it’s lost its spark ✨ (yktv?).

Message to the Freshmen about FLASH:
“Just enjoy it… it feels like a party everyday 😇🤩”
