Had an absolute dream of a card, the weather held off for the most part and I pulled off a tie for second place FA1 in the Women of Wilmington event for the PDGA Women’s Global. Women from all around the world play two rounds of disc golf at their local participating PDGA Women’s Global Event. Scores from the first two rounds of each participating tournament are submitted by the individual tournament directors and rated by the PDGA. These round ratings are totaled and averaged to determine the player’s “Global Score.” Thanks to my sweet husband for caddying and to @candymc26 and Mitch Pruitt @capefeardiscs for all the hard work and great CTPs!

Got my first ace of 2024! Visiting Wilmington for the week and hit hole 16 at the Arrowhead monthly tournament. Nice little blind headwind ace with a Sidewinder I got from @nqueen_68286!

Thanks @bill77hill for running another holiday series event at a new-to-me course in Marysville, NC.

The people in this region make disc golf 1000x more fun.

…sometimes it’s nice when something good happens to me for a change!!! Things have been rough but man does this feel good!!!

After a four hole play off against @a_girl_throwing_things … I was able to come out with my first B-Tier FPO victory! It is always a pleasure playing with @a_girl_throwing_things and @emmaplaysdg …I loved the energy, trash talking, encouragement and support you both bring to the table!!! A complete blast!!!

Thank you to @bill77hill for putting on a great tournament!!! And thank you to @easterndiscgolf and @piasgreenvillenc for having my back and making sure I have the tools I need to grow as a player!!!

Overwhelmingly grateful to @aaronybarlow & @a_girl_throwing_things for capturing me with my girls 🤍 Special moments that I will never forget.

Missing Boca every second, but always will have these photos to cherish. Bristol is photogenic as always 😂🤍
Cousin Sadie had to join in too!

Last weekend was an A-tier at Anna Page and Ingersol Park, the Forest City Frenzy (IOS #117) presented by @discraftdiscgolf . Ben and Ceci both played, and Ceci finished T-2nd out of 5 in a competitive FPO field!
.
I (Ceci) went in to the tournament with zero expectations. I hadn’t played much the week prior due to finishing up my graduate school work and I was the lowest rated player. I think that lack of expectations helped me to focus on my own game and the current shot rather than thinking about what it means in terms of score. I hope to carry this attitude into my future tournaments.
.
I made some mistakes coming down the final stretch, in addition to some great play by Ellen, that cost me getting solo second. Great lesson on not letting the pressure get to me though!
.
Darcy, Alexis, Ellen, and Emma were so fun to play with! And huge congrats to Darcy on the win!

Went to Rockford. Played in Rockford. Left Rockford.

Worst tournament as far as play went this year but that’s behind me now. I still had a fun time seeing @yeetsinmadison @emmaarp2 and @widboomshakalaka (congrats on your ACE!) and enjoyed the courses.

Congrats to @a_girl_throwing_things for your W!! I’m so glad I got to meet you 💜

Gearing up to get back out to @discgolfprotour events! It’s been nice to be home and catch up on things but I’m ready to leave.
