I tried both at the River North location, and that warm, gooey cookie is absolutely the move.

This Monday is National Black & White cookie day! Head over to any of @levainbakery locations and enjoy this delicious cookie! Born at Levain’s very first Flatiron bakery, the Black & White Cookie is their chewy, chocolatey twist on the iconic New York classic: a soft, thick cookie packed with noir cocoa powder, white chocolate and milk chocolate chips. And new this year - the Black & White Cookie Latte! Levain steeps their Black and White Chocolate Chip cookies in oat milk overnight, adds a fresh espresso shot, and finishes it with white chocolate cold foam and cookie crumbles. That latte is decadence in a cup! The limited edition cookie and latte are available until the 14th, so clear your schedule and head over! And if you’re one of the first 50 customers, you’ll be gifted a mini black & white tote!

NEW at Levain Bakery in Chicago 👀🍪 #hosted

I stopped in to check out what’s new and apparently picked a VERY good time. 😂

☕️ The Cookie Milk Latte is made with oat milk steeped with Levain’s iconic cookies — yes, cookies IN the milk.

🤎 Then there’s the limited-edition @chefbae x Levain Cinnamon Roll Muffin, with a cinnamon swirl + vanilla glaze. (gluten & dairy free)

And because apparently that wasn’t enough… I spotted the Levain x @crateandbarrel collection while I was there too. 👀🍪

Basically, I went in for a latte and found a whole Levain moment.

Nashville, pull up a chair—Alla Vita’s open. 🥂
•
📍 Alla Vita just opened in We-Ho, and it’s already one of the buzziest spots in town.
•
✨ Warm light, lush greenery, and the type of vibe that makes ❝𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘦❞ turn into ❝𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥.❞
•
🔥 The space hums with energy, the service is steady, and the food is exactly what you want—handmade pasta, wood-fired pizza, no gimmicks.
•
🍝 Standouts:
~ Tagliatelle with beef shank ragù: rich, deep, unforgettable
~ Rigatoni alla vodka with Calabrian chili: creamy with just the right kick
~ Cacio e pepe ricotta dumplings: pillowy and deeply savory
~ Truffle mushroom pizza: crisp, fragrant, impossible to share (𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 the crust: 𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘸𝘺, 𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘥, 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳 🤌🤌🤌)
~ Grilled Branzino: the quiet standout on the menu 💯
•
🍸 Drinks are vermouth- and amaro-led with serious spritzes. The wine skews Italian, appropriately so. And dessert? Don’t leave without trying the tiramisu or the gelato du jour.
•
👨‍🍳 Chef @leewolen and @bokarestaurantgroup brought this Chicago favorite to 523 Houston St., and it 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 feels like a Nashville staple. It’s the kind of place that becomes a regular without trying.
•
📸 One more thing: The meal was so good we forgot to photograph most of it—only two dishes made it to the camera. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵’𝘴 how tasty it was. 🎉.

POV: You just had the best meal of the year. 🤯

@momotarorestaurant absolutely blew us away. From the moment we walked in, every part of the experience was exceptional. The service was warm and attentive, the atmosphere struck the perfect balance of upscale and inviting, and the food… simply unforgettable.

Every dish was beautifully crafted, incredibly fresh, and packed with flavor. It’s rare to find a restaurant where every single element comes together this perfectly, but @momotarorestaurant nailed it. So glad @bokarestaurantgroup and @chefgenekato brought this masterpiece from Chicago to Nashville!

Without a doubt, this is our Meal of the Year so far. If you’re looking for a dining experience that’s worth every bite, put this at the top of your list.
