Takes a knee.. “I heard 1st AD’s have a shorter life span” 😤
I remember the first day I read this gym scene in the script, in these shots you’ll see a vision become reality- There’s soooo much good BTS from #theweapon and this gym day was an amazing display of teamwork. The avengers were assembled for this POC and the proof is in the pudding 🥋

“The Weapon”
⚔️

Behind the scenes of an incredible experience 🎬

I had the opportunity to work on this film alongside my work wife, @uurbannails, providing hair, makeup, and SFX for the cast. It was such a rewarding experience getting to bring characters to life while learning more about the filmmaking process.

I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity to be part of this project and for the chance to meet so many talented and welcoming people on set. Getting a glimpse into the film industry right here around our hometown of Lampasas made the experience even more special.

A story written by @codybobay and produced by Chase & Jordan Kuker, right here in our hometown, it was an honor to be a small part of bringing it to life.

So grateful for the experience, the people I met, and the memories made on set. Here’s to more opportunities, more creativity, and hopefully more film work in the future!

Thank you @chasekuker & @jokuk for letting us be apart of this, and trusting us!

Much Love! 🤍

Last night was officially a wrap on the 4-day proof of concept for The Weapon. 🎬

It feels so surreal getting to say that this was not only the first film set I’ve ever worked on, but the first set I’ve ever even been on. I walked into this project with no prior film or SFX makeup experience and walked away with so much more knowledge, confidence, inspiration, and love for the industry.

The biggest thank you to my coworker @kenyaxhair for being by my side through this entire process. I couldn’t imagine experiencing our first set without you. 💖

And forever grateful to @chasekuker @jokuk @pillarproductionstx @i68studios for taking a chance on us, bringing us onto this project, and trusting us to help bring these characters and this story to life. The knowledge @kaitlin_lyerly shared with us got us was incredibly helpful and helped me so much in preparation for this type of work 💄💅🏼

To the incredible cast — thank you for trusting us with your faces, sitting through all the blood, bruises, grime, sweat, touch-ups, continuity photos, and everything in between. 😂 You made our jobs SO much fun.

And to every single person behind the scenes who made these four days happen — it was genuinely such a privilege getting to watch everyone do what they do best. The people I met along the way made such an impact on me, and that might be my favorite part of this entire experience.

Four very long days, a whole lot of fake blood, some incredible memories, and officially my first film credit. 🥹💖

Peacemaker vs PEACEMAKER? That’s right, our favorite superhero has to fight himself from another dimension and the Gloves Come Off! Incredible work by our two stunt doubles @chadcrum and @dargan_fire who spent days in wires and took some serious HITS. But the real magic here is the fight design by @davemacomber , who was able to pull off this incredibly technical sequence by using plate shots, clever transitions, and cowboy switches to make us all believe that we were watching Peacemaker fight himself!

Emmy voting is now open and closes the 26th, please consider voting for us in Outstanding Stunt Coordination for Comedy Programing!

This is a perfect example of why we have stunt doubles. If this was "an actor" production would have shut down. (Stunt doubles are actors also. I'm talking about if it was Hemsworth, Evans, Cavill. Production can't have their stars injured.). Dan Carter is a sweet kind soul and also just a beast. #stunts

PEACEMAKER S2 ✌🏽

&& it won 🏆 at the @saturnawards 🤩
I forgot post when the season first came out but here we are.

There’s so much I could say.
I loved every minute of getting to be stunt double for Sasha Bordeaux. As a massive Batman fan (even had a Batman wedding) this was such an honor.

Then to my surprise the even better parts came.

To know @solrodr is to love her. An absolute world class, actress, human, and friend. Anything and everything she touches is instantly infused with love and light. What a compliment it is when we go out people ask if we are sisters. 👯‍♀️🦾🫶🏽

Got to work with the hubby 💍 @theortizexperience yet again, and it is never taken for granted. We love getting to create on set memories together. It was too much fun having justin in full zombie prosthetic, he actually scared me multiple times and I LOVED IT! 😹 You can see one of the scares in the zombie video slide. I’ll admit, he got me lol.

My friend, @aletheajones directed episodes of peacemaker and then we went to go do another show together in miami right after. What a gift from the universe. I’m so proud of you. I love being inspired by the women in my life. (Check her name out on the slate in the final slide 🤩)

I got to work with my friends that are equal parts hilarious and talented, even got to finally work for a long time inspiration of mine since my childhood as a martial artist 🥋 @davemacomber

I’ve had the honor to work with and for @stuntsurfer on multiple occasions but this one was special. Thank you Hank, always, from both Justin and I.

There’s never enough words to express it all. So I’ll just say I’m so full of love and gratitude for it all.
