🚨TIP TUESDAY🚨
THE HIPS(Quick 15 min Hip Mobility workout below)

🧃Your hips are the cornerstone of nearly every movement you make on the field. From sprinting and jumping to cutting and pivoting, your hips play a crucial role in generating power, stability, and agility.

💪🏾Your hips are home to some of the largest and most powerful muscles in your body, including the glutes, hamstrings, and hip flexors. Developing strength in these muscles is essential for generating explosive power and maintaining optimal posture and alignment.

🗒️15 Min Hip Mobility Session:

1. Dynamic Leg Swings (2 minutes): Stand facing a wall or sturdy object for support. Swing one leg forward and backward, keeping it straight, for 30 seconds. Then switch to swinging the other leg.

2. Lateral Leg Swings (2 minutes): Stand sideways to a wall or sturdy object. Swing one leg sideways across your body and then back out to the side, keeping it straight. Repeat for 30 seconds on each side.

3. Hip Circles (2 minutes): Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Place your hands on your hips and circle your hips clockwise for 30 seconds, then counterclockwise for another 30 seconds.

4. Pigeon Pose (2 minutes): Begin in a plank position. Bring your right knee forward towards your right hand, placing your shin on the ground. Extend your left leg back behind you. Sink your hips down towards the ground to feel a stretch in your right hip. Hold for 1 minute, then switch to the other side.
5. Deep Squats (2 minutes): Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart. Lower into a deep squat, keeping your heels on the ground and your chest up. Hold for 30 seconds, then rise back up and repeat.

6. Hip Flexor Stretch (2 minutes): Kneel on one knee with the other foot flat on the ground in front of you. Lean forward, pressing your hips forward until you feel a stretch in the front of your hip. Hold for 1 minute, then switch to the other side.

7. Bridge Pose (2 minutes): Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the ground. Lift your hips towards the ceiling, engaging your glutes and hamstrings. Hold for 1 minute, then lower back down.
