YOU CRUSHED IT Brighde! YOU RANG THAT BELL!
✨
As some know, this March, our youngest sister, Brighde, heard those words nobody ever wants to hear: “You have breast cancer.”
✨
What followed was a grueling journey: a double mastectomy, a hysterectomy, 18 weeks of chemotherapy, and five straight weeks of daily radiation.
✨
Through every challenge, she showed extraordinary courage, strength, resilience, determination, and grace.
✨
Brighde you are a WARRIOR, a SUPERHERO, a VIKING QUEEN, and a FORCE OF NATURE! I am endlessly inspired by you and in awe of everything you have overcome. You are my eternal hero.
✨
You have also been surrounded by an incredible caregiving community and tribe. They always say “it takes a village” and yet you have a city! Your partner, Sam, stood by your side as a pillar of strength, love, and knowledge, helping all of us navigate this complicated journey. Your lifelong friend, Dr. Ashley Ford Haggerty, offered exceptional care, medical guidance, and unwavering support from the very beginning. And your family, countless friends, and beautiful community showed up with a love and generosity I have never witnessed before.
✨
The outpouring of love and support has been extraordinary—a true testament to the incredible human being you are and to the many lives you have touched.
✨
There are no words—and no amount of gratitude—that could ever fully express how grateful I am for the exceptional TLC, compassion, and love everyone has shared with my sister these past 8+ months.
✨
Brighde, thank you for braving the way and inspiring hope in others who may be facing their own similar journey. You have reminded us all what courage looks like—and what is possible when unconditional love, care, and community surrounds us.
✨
Here’s to healing, recovery, new beginnings, laughter, adventure, and all things beautiful this life has in store for you as you embark on the next chapter of your journey.
✨
I LOVE YOU, BRIGHDE! You are my hero! As mom would say, you are our ✨ “shining star”! ✨

🙏GrateFULL Today🙏

The ability to "Get out there and Do"
Is a bi-product of disciplined motivation. No matter where you are, or what you're going through, know that NOTHING is permanent! The simple repetition of a phrase like "this too shall pass" has helped the general ebb.n.flow and release of my stinkin' thinkin'.🧐
Do yourself a favor, drop the rock, get out of your own way and let something greater than you take the wheel. Freedom from the bondage of self CAN be achieved within your person.🙏❤️🥰

🙏GrateFULL Today🙏
Back in the 90's there was strife, slope rage, angst and frustration between skiers and snowboarders. For reasons simply based around ego, lack of acceptance and relative ignorance.

So, 3 guys on a golf course in the summer of '94 developed a concept that was focused on the unification of all things snowsliding. The confluence that flowed forth became known as, The Lord of the Boards. 👑⛷️🏂👏

This post is directed to ALL the athletes that showed up, suited up, clicked in and accepted the challenge to bridge the gap, end the strife and UNITE as a collective group of Lordly RADness in the name of snow sliding. You helped change the narrative, foster growth thru unification & pioneer an Olympic sport.
Thank You, Merci, Grass.E.Ass🙏

⛱️What I did on My Summer Recess👙

Summer, Huh? NOT much Summer 4 me!Started out coaching a race camp in Mt. Hood in July. Then squeezed in a few weeks of mountain biking back home in Aspen, CO. Then packed all my AKOVA Gear up to Argentina for 2 months.
El Niño pulled through and it snowed for almost all of July. August hit & we had 4 weeks of unbelievable couloirs and steeps in Las Leñas.
I bounced between ski tour days with my Legacy Hard Shell and cold snowy powder days in my Legacy 3L. It’s great to have options!
Wrapped up the southern winter with a few Freeride comps in Las Leñas and Valle Arpa, Chile. The record winter has me extremely excited to see what the upcoming winter in the Northern Hemisphere has in store for us.⛷️❄️🙏

🔥⛽️FUEL FOR the FIRE🔥⛽️
This was day 27 of 156 last season.
Earning turns while gear testing.
If ya need a testimonial for Quality TESTED Gear, do you wanna talk to Joey in a shop, or an online desk jockey "influencer" with the nickname Tommy Toolbox?
OR perhaps trust in someone that lives in the mountains, has broken body parts in the gear, plays the game, bled and sweated on it and has 5 decades of experience?
Hmmmm..seems like a simple answer!

The best o' da best is on sale right now. Hit me up if you need further proof...or even a better discount. $ha-ching$
