🌹 @hcfc.2025 traveled to Frederick for Round 2 of the South Mountain Derby looking for some revenge after dropping the first matchup.

⚽ The Black Roses controlled the tempo for much of the game, dictating play and creating quality chances throughout the match.

🧤 Goalkeeper Darius Geaman stood tall between the posts and was instrumental in building play from the back, helping Hub City control possession and the pace of the game.

🎯 Joshua Wisdom converted a penalty kick after James “Pele” Sesay was taken down inside the box by the Frederick goalkeeper.

😎 Sesay then added a cheeky finish of his own to keep the Black Roses fighting as the derby battle heated up.

🟥 Even after going down a player following a late second-half red card, Hub City FC continued to press forward and create opportunities.

🚨 The Black Roses thought they had found a dramatic late winner, but the goal was waved off by an unfortunate offside call.

🤝 After 90 hard-fought minutes, the South Mountain Derby ended in a 2-2 draw.

📍 Join us tonight, Wednesday 6/24 at 7 PM at Mike Callas Stadium and again Wednesday 7/1 for our final match of the season at North Hagerstown High School’s Mike Callas Stadium.

@hagerstowneats x @hcfc.2025
⚽️The boys put in a strong performance and created plenty of chances throughout the match. A relentless push in the final 15 minutes had Alexandria pinned back, but we couldn’t find the equalizer.

The result doesn’t reflect the fight, heart, and effort shown on the pitch.

Next up, we hit the road to Frederick for Game 2 of The South Mountain Derby before closing out the season with two home matches.

The work continues. The mission stays the same.

🏟️ In front of more than 300 supporters, Hub City FC turned Mike Callas Stadium into a party with a dominant 6-1 victory in our first home match.

Before kickoff, James “Pele” Sesay said, “This one isn’t for us, this one is for the fans.” The boys backed it up in style.

⚽ Carson Feeser scored the first home goal in club history, assisted by Drew Lobley.
⚽ Mac Long powered home a header from a pinpoint cross by James Sesay.
⚽ Joshua Wisdom put on a clinic with a hat trick.
⚽ James Sesay finished the night with a goal and two assists.
⚽ Anthony Nzuzi added an assist to help fuel the attack.
⚽ The entire squad fed off the energy from the stands and never looked back.

⚡️The atmosphere was electric from the opening whistle to the final minute. Thank you to everyone who came out and made history with us. This is only the beginning. 🖤🌹
