β€’ @dark_tapes It’s a lofi Synth Symphony! @arturia_official MicroFreak, @rolandglobal JU-06a, @stylophone_official Gen X-2, @korgofficial Volca FM 2, all sequenced by Korg SQ-1. These are all recorded into the @tascam_official Portastudio 414 MKII for some lofi gain. Plugged into the Tascam’s effects loop are: @walrusaudioeffects Slö, @alexanderpedals Syntax Error and into the @somasynths Cosmos for huge bonus ambient glitch flavour! At the end of the chain, I have everything coming out of the Portastudio into Ableton with only the @landrmusic Pro Mastering plugin applied. #lofiambient #synth #microfreak #arturia #somacosmos #korgvolca #volcafm #synthstagram #effectspedals #pedalboardoftheday #walrusaudio #alexanderpedals #rolandboutique #rolandjuno #ju06a #sounddesign #musicforfilm #filmscore #videogamemusic #fantasysoundtrack #scifimusic #fantasymusic #fmsynthesis #solarpunk #newage #tascam #portastudio #cassette #lofi #bedroomproducer

THIS MONTH’S CREATOR SPOTLIGHT - Here’s a look inside the minds of some amazing creators! @dark_tapes β€œMini setup, BIG sounds! Taking CV signal from the @korgofficial SQ-1 sequencer, the Stylophone Gen X-2 receives the gate and pitch then blasts notes out of the mighty analog oscillator. Drums are synced to the same sequencer and the Stylophone Gen X-1 is being played freehand for ambient washes over top the pulsating melodies of the Gen X-2. Instant RAVE.” @zemertz_official β€œHere I am using the Pocket Scion from @instruomodular to generate electrical signals from my Golden Neon Pothos plant which is making the melody base for the music. This is fed into the Spotykach tape looper by @synthux.academy and modulated by the CPM DS-2 for speed gate and octave shifting allowing some beautiful modulation of the wave forms and taking me in different directions. The DS-2 very portable and battery powered setup to take it outside next time easily.” @blakmoth β€œThe DS-2 is the perfect standalone synth for creating deep evocative drone-scapes. In this patch I’m creating some texture using the wave outputs of the LFOs to modulate the PWM.” @chorusesfrom β€œWhen making music I spend so much time staring at a screen, too much. Using the Gen X-1 in this way gets me away from that, and I just forget to overthink what I’m creating on it.” @estelle.avenue β€œPlaying the Stylosette on bananas. That’s running into @walrusaudioeffects Mako R1 reverb. The rest of the sequence is playing through an EMU MP7 Command Station. All sounds running through a @chasebliss Habit.” Tag @stylophone_official to share your sounds, and maybe we’ll see YOU in next Stylophone Creator Spotlight! #Stylophone #stylophonegenx2 #stylophoneds2 #analog #synthesizer #homerecording #instasynth #drone #dronesynth #stylosette #musicmaking #pocketsynth #sounddesign #modular #eurorack
