Thankful for a wonderful time in Palm Springs this past weekend. We were blessed to see Amber perform in Cabaret with a local theater. She killed it! The weather was beautiful which allowed us to witness the beauty of the area. The surrounding mountains were snow-capped from recent snow....absolutely gorgeous!!

As a Jewish person, I don't often find myself reflected in characters and in plots. Delving into this show put me in touch with roots of myself that don't often get acknowledged, by me or by others. I am walking away from this experience with countless lessons learned from the creatives, the cast, the libretto, the music, the audience... It is thrilling to be amongst artists who are always discovering new moments, while staying firmly planted in the themes. How crucial it is to make art that challenges its audiences. To put a piece in front of people that questions their ideas of prejudice, manipulation, gender, sexuality, love, money, politics, war, death, and life is big and bold and beautiful. And getting to do it while constantly breaking the fourth wall and immersing ourselves within the audience? Such a wildly fulfilling connection in that theatre. Beyond being immersive during the show, we had the coolest opportunity to perform a pre show. I got to sing "The Way You Look Tonight" before every Cabaret in our lobby with the wonderful @ba.huffman , a moment I cherished each day. Our lobby was covered with photos from the time, collages of historical propaganda, informative newspapers our team wrote, bathroom signs in German... I am grateful to have done this piece, that matters greatly in this moment, with an intensity that insisted on full focus from entry to exit. Gonna cherish this one forever. 🖤

Happy closing day! We are sad to have to say goodbye to CABARET” tonight. What a ride it has been! But we would like to thank the 3800+ people who have bought tickets to this most amazing and meaningful production. We couldn’t be more proud of our cast, creative team, crew, volunteers and audiences. Thank you all.
