Day 198 on the road to 200 days on snow was an absolute spring‑time heater at Arapahoe Basin! 🌞❄️🏂

Today had everything:
🔥 Slushy turns on West Wall
🔥 Lake Reveal OPEN for pond skimming
🔥 Last First Chair Friday of the entire 25/26 season
🔥 And yes… I made it onto First Chair at Black Mountain Express without putting ‘er in da cabbage!

With only two days left until the 200‑day milestone, every lap feels special. The stoke is high, the snow is soft, and the Basin is delivering exactly the kind of spring magic that makes this place legendary.

If you love spring snowboarding, A‑Basin culture, pond skimming, or following the final push toward 200 days, this one’s for you.

Let’s keep riding. ❄️🔥🏂

This is the album art for EUPHONIC.

I asked the artist responsible for this piece, Archibald Blondinet, to share his thoughts:

“Rebellious evolution, the album’s overarching theme, felt a little abstract at first, I admit. It suggested a sense of continuous change through struggle, but how to visualise that wasn’t immediately clear. Then I listened to the music, soaked up the lyrics, and, as I jiggled to the rhythm, the visuals began to take shape.

The album is an emotional rollercoaster, shifting between good and evil, bliss and sorrow, confidence and vulnerability across its songs. Yet what stood out most to me was the feeling of being on top of the world—literally—inspired by the lead single and my favourite track, “Megalodon.”

That’s when the image of a hand emerging from the Earth came to me, and it struck a chord with Dae early on. As the concept evolved, it became more visceral: the hand grew more organic, more alive, as if summoned from the Earth’s entrails, holding Dae in the spotlight—focused, reflective, with a hint of something darker lurking behind.” - Archibald

CANNOT FORGET! Much love to Leon Henderson, the brilliant photographer responsible for the photo that became the back cover. Plus Sam McConnell + Breakfast. for putting it all together. With help from Capo from Jim’s Pool Room and Stephen Mack aka Digital Co-Op, of course. Euphonic is here in one week - Fri. Aug. 15th.

So cool to see the DARKDARK @darkdarkmusic remix Chris @chrisjamesdisco and I did of “End of the World” in the latest Sony Sync Shop newsletter. We leaned into the shadows on this one—dark, cinematic, and full of feeling.

“In Flight” is out on @appletv ! It was a pleasure to be brought onboard to score @boyoungblood ‘s feature directorial debut!! I got to write a tense electronic score and two @darkdarkmusic songs were synched! - « P.E.T.A.L.S. » from our latest album “Ghost Complex” @spectracreativestudio & « Fake It » from our EP “Heathered” @nettwerkmusic

Huge thank you to my music team @marto172 on Additional Music, @jaysmarc Score Mixer, @shayeole & @_benvan for Technical Music Assistants.
