I think part of why I love film so much is the way it reminds me why I fell in love with photography in the first place. 🤍

As a wedding photographer, I am documenting some of the most meaningful moments in people’s lives. These are the moments that make a wedding day more than just a celebration, and film has a way of making them feel even more meaningful to me.

There’s something about never knowing exactly how a frame will turn out until I get it back. The way the light falls, the colors that come through, the grain, the little imperfections. It reminds me that photography doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful. Sometimes, the most meaningful images are the ones that simply feel like the moment did.

I think that’s why film has become such a personal part of the way I document weddings. I’m not just thinking about how these photographs will look today, but how they’ll feel 30, 50, or 100 years from now. The thought of a photograph being held by a grandchild who never got to meet the people in it, yet somehow gets to know them through that image, is something l’ll never stop loving.

For me, film is about preserving the feeling of a moment and creating something tangible that can be held, revisited, and passed down long after the day itself has become a memory. And as long as I get to tell love stories, I think I’ll always want a little film in the mix. 🎞️

This year the coven decided to stop taking themselves to seriously and start clowning around 🤡

My mom and I spent a lonnnnnng time building these sets and I’m so glad it all came together.

Pure love, infectious Joy, and front row seats to forever! I wouldn't trade getting to celebrate these moments for anything!!

When I get to experience true genuine love taking shape into a forever relationship, it makes all of the hot days, unpredictable weather, long drives, restless nights, finger cuts and injuries, and everything that is sometimes hard to handle, all worth it!!! 😭😭💕💕

I cherish all of the memories I've made along the way and all of the friendships and people I've met that I know half my back!! 🫶🏻
