The Itasha 101 panel was an incredible experience for both anime and car enthusiasts, giving attendees an inside look into the world of itasha culture, vehicle wraps, and custom anime-themed designs. Guests were able to ask questions, share ideas, and learn what it takes to create a successful itasha build while connecting with others in the growing community.

When we first started back in 2018, we only had around five people sitting in the classroom. Now in 2026, it has grown into something we never expected, with a massive amount of people wanting to learn about itasha installs, the process behind it, and how everything works overall. Seeing this community continue to grow has truly opened our hearts and motivated us to keep pushing forward with our journey and love for anime and cars.

Thank you for all the love and support you have given us throughout the years and for helping us continue to reach the next level. We can't wait for next year’s panel to continue sharing our passion and see where this journey takes us next.

Story Time: I knew I had to do something completely different this year, and deep down I knew it was finally time to change the itasha wrap for MomoCon 2026. I just wasn’t sure what direction to take at first, but I knew it had to stand out from anything we’ve done before.

One day, my daughter was getting ready for school, but she refused to wake up unless I played the “Golden” song from KPop Demon Hunters. On top of that, she would only wear pink from head to toe before leaving the house. That’s when everything clicked. She inspired the entire new color theme for the Scion xB and pushed me to create something totally different from what people are used to seeing from us.

Tony from Digital Print Design took the vision and created the artwork completely from scratch with over 13 characters, carefully making everything flow together while even adding their names in Korean lettering for extra detail and authenticity.

The process wasn’t easy either. It took us about 4 weeks to fully repair the vehicle, replace parts that needed attention, and make sure the wrap and digital print installation came out exactly the way we envisioned it. Every detail mattered, and we wanted everything perfect before revealing it.

Once it was finally complete, we kept the vehicle hidden until Caffeine and Octane, but especially for the official MomoCon reveal, where we could display the Scion xB and show everyone the level of work and creativity we’re capable of bringing to the itasha scene.

And now, here we are. Time to finally show it off and let all the hard work pay off.

A beautiful AWA weekend that I wouldn't change a thing despite the ups and downs. I loved just getting to know more about my friends and make new friends like always. The fun of cosplay comes from the joy of not only becoming the character you wanna be but also sharing that joy with others. Biggest takeaway from this con adventure: Believe in the person and potential my friends say I've had in me the whole time and still do.

Until next con adventure my friends 🥹💕✨💕🙌🏿
