I found @darkstar.machine while looking for more unusual jewelry to add to my wardrobe and ended up saving a whole group of their pieces.

I already have plenty of regular necklaces, bracelets, and rings, so I’ve been more interested lately in finding jewelry that I don’t already own some version of. The hand pieces were what caught my attention first because I’ve never owned anything like them, and then I found the waist chains, and dangling star hair sticks too.

I especially like the amethyst hand piece. The combination of the silver metalwork, chain and huge purple stone is so beautiful.

I saved all of these pieces to my Locker wishlist if you want to find them. My Locker is linked in my bio.

I didn't get many photos, but this weekend was full of bumps, heat, and a little bit of wind and rain, but it was so much fun and worth it! It's been a year since I started working for @darkstar.machine, and I am excited for what's to come. I hope everyone had a good Upstate Ren Faire weekend!

DARKSTAR MACHINATIONS designs are an elegant combination of the historic old world and the futuristic new world. Inspired by stories, modern and ancient, with a dark SciFi aesthetic- many of our designs resemble weapons, armor, fortifications, mythology, and of course, astronomy. A beautiful dichotomy of old and new; classic and innovative. Many of our pieces are inspired by historical works and refined with a modern edge, making our work have a sense of timelessness.

Our pieces are original designs made from copper, brass, aluminum, and silver with traditional and modern metalworking techniques. All work is hand-made in our studio and includes: earcuffs, hand pieces, hair sticks, armbands, belly chains, broaches, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, pendants, rings, and more.
