I got the new CD All That Dark & All That Cold in the mail yesterday from The God Awful Truth. They not only sent the CD but also stickers and pins which is really awesome. This band is amazing and super nice. I’m grateful to have both of their albums on CDs.

2 years ago today:

1) @thecallousdaoboys - Celebrity Therapist via @mnrk_heavy, another essential addition to canon

2) @sunfloerny - all these darlings and now via @darktrailrecords, one of the most emotionally stirring finishes to any album of the genre in recent memory

I can’t believe I never shared the final outcome of the Euclid C Finder! jacket artwork I made. I’m an idiot. I couldn’t be happier with the quality, colors, and the way the layout made it so the art wraps around and matches up if you have two copies.
Not sure if the label has any more copies. They shouldn’t, it’s like THEE mathcore release of the last decade. But if they do and you’ve been sleepies, go buy a copy for it’s gone for good.

CONSMASHULATIONS to our very good friends who we have never met and actually don’t know very well at all from Texas, @thegodawfultruthtx and their unreal new album ‘All That Dark & All That Cold’ for absolutely storming home with the latest May Contain Metal Album of the Week title/trophy/award (actually there is neither a trophy nor an award).

We LOVED their 2020 debut ‘Memory Palace’ and they’ve always held a grotty, scum-dunked place in our hearts so imagine our squeals of sheer, unadulterated joy when we saw that they had released a second album! And you know what…it’s GREAT! Heavy, mad, whacky, fast, mathy aaand just very very good really. Well done chaps!

We’ll buy you a beer as and when you come to the UK/we head to Texas 🤘
