Proud to have hosted @georgioxv3 for the presentation of his new album ⚡️

The album has been placed in a sealed concrete sarcophagus & the only way to access it will be to destroy the object.

#AnneesSauvages is now available for pre-order. Written and recorded between Paris, Lille and Los Angeles. The cover was made by @antonin.nkruma and the artistic direction of@visuals by @raegular.

From April 15 to May 14, 2022, Darmo is pleased to welcome Oussama Garti for a solo show at 20 rue Royale in Paris.

The exhibition entitled "Ripples" brings together a new series of 17 paintings metamorphosed into low reliefs.

"These folds draw the sedimentation of an evaporated presence. Something happened here, but what? A crime? A rape? A work of flesh? The crumpled fabric, suspended, is both a trace and a witness. In a word, it is a relic, a shroud. Perhaps the perizonium." Colin Lemoine

L’exposition intitulée "Ripples" rassemble une série inédite de 17 peintures métamorphosées en bas reliefs.

« Ces plis dessinent la sédimentation d’une présence évaporée. Quelque chose ici s’est passé, mais quoi ? Un crime ? Un viol ? Une œuvre de chair ? Le tissu froissé, suspendu, tout à la fois trace et témoin. En un mot, il est une relique, un suaire. Peut-être le périzonium. » Colin Lemoine

Colin Lemoine developed a passion for the work of Oussama Garti, whom he likes to describe as a "master in coating". « Here, the body has disappeared. Each of Garti's canvases is like a chrysalis: it is the envelope without the letter, the fabric without the body. I think of Piero Manzoni's Achromes and, even more, of Imogen Cunningham's photographs of an unmade bed. Arte povera of a richness without a name and unnameable ».

New Darmo Art exhibition space!
We are pleased to announce our collaboration with The Coast concept store by A.Selmeiyer & Journé, in the Grand Hotel Heiligendamm, Germany
- Opening on July 3rd, 2021 -

A. Selmeiyer and Journé are two companies running retail spaces within the hotel complex, offering guests a unique private shopping experience.

As a part of their expansion, Darmo Art will collaborate with The Coast to manage a new exhibition space. The first exhibition will last until the end of 2021, featuring works by emerging artists and 20th-century masters. On view will be Raf Reyes, Swann Ronné, Oussama Garti, Pauline d'Andigné, Joan Miró, Marc Chagall and Georges Braque.

The Grand Hotel Heiligendamm is a luxury hotel complex located on the Baltic Sea in Germany. It was in this hotel that Angela Merkel organized the 33rd G8 summit in June 2007. The Grand Hotel includes numerous restaurants, bars, a spa, and luxurious rooms. It is an honor for Darmo Art to have been invited to collaborate on the opening of this new exhibition space.
