Dance recital day! Hip hop first, then jazz/contemporary, then repeat for show 2.... then out to dinner...what a day.... no wonder she is already out like a light!

Recital day is always a long, and slightly stressful day but we love it so much. I am so proud of this girl... watching her up on that stage, doing something she loves so much is my favorite thing. I feel very lucky to have such an amazing and talented little lady! 💜💜💜

Last weekend my TrueCar team and I volunteered at #thegivingspirit. The Giving Spirit provides aid to these vulnerable and fragile lives by assembling and personally distributing survival kits to the children, women and families living on the streets of Los Angeles. I can’t even tell you what an amazing and humbling experience this is. Remember, #theyareus ! Sometimes all these folks need is a smile, a nod, a brief engagement, a good morning, a how are you doing, a do@you need anything? It’s amazing what you will hear. Btw, we are doing another outreach in Salt Lake City on the 23rd. Reach out to me if you are interested in helping out. I’d love to hand out some sandwiches, cookies, hot chocolate, warms stuff, tarps, sleeping bags, gloves, etc. You know you want to help. ❤️❤️❤️ #mayoroflosangeles #themayorwasthere #carterisnotoninstagram

Darren and I are arguing whether or not this family is democrat or republican. The wife straight up got up and cut up his chicken and waffles. #whatthehellisthis
