DAD IS A GRAD!!! 🎓

Completing a Masters in Divinity while in the newborn trenches is no easy feat, but that’s Darrian for ya! He defies all odds and does it with excellence every time. A year later, we had the opportunity to travel as a family to the place that shaped him and watch him gracefully tie a bow on a really challenging season. I am so proud of you!! Hard work pays off every time!!! Can’t wait to come back for college tour day with our teenage woodsy🤪

Great day with Bruce Wesley and Chad Clarkson who lead the Houston Church Planting Network. This amazing trans-denominational network of 170 local churches comes together to plant new churches across Houston. Today six more church planting couples were commissioned to start six more new churches!

I had the privilege of huddling with their key leaders, then speaking to 250 church leader about how to be a Multiplier - a healthy leader who makes a lasting impact. Then I followed that up with an interview and Q & A with Darrian Graves, one of the most prolific Multipliers I know!

We are seeing this kind of collaboration happening in cities and regions all across the country! Very encouraging.

OUR BABY IS ONE 😭🎈

so many firsts have come of this past year with Woods. For woods— first smiles. first laughs, first words, first steps. For me — first time bringing a baby earth side to learn, nurture, and love unconditionally.

It’s true when they say, “we are all experiencing life for the first time”. But when you have your first baby, you almost get to experience life a second time. Through their eyes. In the purest most tender way. Woods Amen, thank you for giving me the opportunity to do that. Thank you for giving me grace to figure it all out TOGETHER. Thank you for healing parts of me that no one else could. Thank you for letting me be your mommy. It’s the best honor and the thing I’m most proud of.

Thank you JESUS for teaching me,through becoming a parent this past year, how much you love YOUR children. Nothing compares to the love of our Heavenly Father.

Happy 1st Birthday Woods Amen! Mommy and Dada love you with every fiber of our beings♥️
