12 years ago, September 21, 2010, we opened the @altamontespringsyoga doors for business. 🧡🧡🧡 I was excited and super scared. That first year was incredibly challenging with LONG days and painfully small classes. In spite of our rough start, we made it by working very hard and by putting one foot in front of the other every single day. Opening, running, and building a brand new yoga community from the ground up was exhausting and exciting. #ThankYou God and thank you to: ❤️ all our teachers past and present ❤️ all our staff past and present ❤️ all our students past and present ❤️ and all our trainers and presenters past and present We would not be here without your energy, your love of yoga, and your passion for the practice. Last year my prayer was that we would survive the pandemic, get back on our feet, and welcome our yogis back home. I thought the pandemic would be the hardest thing I would face … little did I know a few days later Ovarian cancer would make its presence known. 😮 I’ve been away from the studio a lot this year and my yoga community took up the slack while I was away. I say this quite often and it’s exceptionally true this year … we would not still be here serving up the yoga without you! I could not have faced the battle of my life and at the same time kept the studio doors open. It’s all y’all and I’m eternally grateful. 🙏🏽 Special thanks to our Ommazing yoga teachers for taking on the responsibility of making sure the studio and the students were well taken care of - THANK YOU! Thank you to Jennifer Freeman for keeping keeping the studio spotless and disinfected so we have a clean, beautiful home to gather our community together. Year 12, PLEASE be kind …. Please. 😆 Cheers to great yoga-filled year‼ Peace ✌️ love ❤️ and #yoga 🙏🏼 y'all 🤠 💥✨🎉🎊🎁🍾👯💃🏽👍🏽👏🏽🙌🏾💋☮❤️🕉 #yogi #inspiration #yogainspiration #yogagirl #yogaeverydamnday #yogastudio #yogachallenge #mexicanownedbusiness #indigenousownedbusiness #trauma #emdr #exercise #fitnessmodel #fitness #igyoga #instayoga #mentalhealth #stressrelief #somatictherapy #somatichealing #business #businesswoman #businessowner #entrepreneur #anniversary #boss #warrior #strongwomen
