DO YOU NEED SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO? DO YOU HAVE JOY IN YOUR LIFE? I've got just the thing... Honestly what was a last minute, late night decision to look up @darwindoofers in 2022 has led to some of the best times in my life 💕 After 5 straight years of Darwin pilgrimage, I can say without any doubt it is the absolute BEST Sunday session ~ phat, funky, groovy, emotional, joyful, playful, topped with bin juice, beautiful sunshine and blue skies 🌞 This year I was so very thankful and grateful to have an opportunity to perform during the Sunday Funday (I got a chance last year but really let myself down performance wise)....this year, the energies were flowing all the right direction 🪩 I have a lot of stories still to tell but for now I'll let the visuals do the talking - thanks to @darktripau for the vid 📽️ Thank you to the wonderful mix of marvellous people who run @weareaetheria and attend - a multicultural wonderland, & classic example of what makes modern Australia such a special place to live and love 💕 Track 1: Beyond Love (Party Pupils Remix) - @inzomusic , @blookah , @partypupils Track 2: Fever Maker (Original Mix) - @favioinker @bonnie_spacey

🔥🥁 SOMETHING ANCIENT WAKES UP… 🥁🔥 There is something almost primordial about fire, drums, rhythm and the human body moving together. 🌍🔥💃 Long before gyms, headphones, meditation apps or nightclubs, humans gathered around fire. We made rhythm. We danced. We told stories. We celebrated, mourned, connected and healed. 🌙✨ 🔥 Fire has represented transformation, power, destruction and rebirth across cultures. Even science suggests that watching and listening to fire may encourage relaxation. 🥁 Drumming isn't simply music. Across many African cultures, drums have accompanied ceremonies, celebrations, storytelling, communication and community life. Rhythm gives our brains and bodies something to synchronize with. 💃 Dance becomes meditation through movement. It challenges the heart, muscles, balance and coordination while research also associates dancing with psychological well-being and social connection. And then there is dancing with fire. 🔥 You can't think about yesterday. You can't worry about tomorrow. When fire is moving around your body, you have to be HERE. NOW. PRESENT. Perhaps that's why these ancient experiences still touch something so deep inside us. Our world has changed enormously… but our nervous systems are still human. 🌿 Sometimes we don't need another screen, another notification or another productivity hack. Sometimes we need… 🔥 fire illuminating the darkness 🥁 drums vibrating through our chest 💃 bodies moving freely 🌍 earth beneath our feet 🫂 people moving together Maybe the ancient wisdom was never complicated. Move. Feel. Connect. Be present. Remember that you are alive. 🔥🥁🌍✨ #FireDancing #AfricanDrumming #AncientWisdom #MindBodyConnection #DanceTherapy

Very excited to share this recording from my set at Aetheria Festival up in Darwin. i played Saturday night 6:30pm to 8:00pm, and it was a special as it could get! Taking the dancefloor on a journey through my collection through the sunset slot! One of my favourite sets I’ve played for sure 👌 Scroll to the end to hear the crowd ambience which I had to include as it was a beautiful moment I’m super proud of, and that the dancefloor appreciated the journey. I can’t wait to rock many more dance floors like this! Drop a comment for the soundcloud link! Or hit the stories! 🕺 Thanks again @weareaetheria I hope to be back soon! ❤️

@weareaetheria felt like stepping into another world. An unforgettable weekend of music, connection, and moments that remind me why I fell in love with this scene in the first place. The artists, the energy, the dancefloor… everything aligned into something truly special. Huge respect to every single person behind the scenes who poured their hearts into bringing this vision to life. What you’ve created is nothing short of extraordinary. Grateful to have been part of it, and even more excited for what’s to come.
