POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Earlier this month, we opened our studio to host @sona_southaustralia and @emagn_sa for their Inside Studios With Peers event. We loved welcoming everyone into our space, and remain proud to support emerging designers through mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and connection. The evening began with Dino sharing the Das story, from our early days, to the exciting projects we’ve completed, and the ones now shaping our future. Then over a wine, 2023 Jack Hobbs McConnell Fellow Reem Daou moderated an inspiring panel discussion on Scholarships and Fellowships. It featured Das’ own Jack Hobbs McConnell Travelling Fellowship recipients Shannon (2025) and Dino (2014), alongside Kenneth & Hazel Milne Travelling Scholar - Eddie Omondi. With Shannon soon to embark on her fellowship travels, it was the perfect moment to celebrate her achievement, and share stories of learning and growth. 📸 @breeze_mathew #dasstudio #makebetter

On behalf of Das Studio and the team at Future Forum, we would like to send a big thank you to everyone who joined us for Design Futures on Wednesday November 6th. We were beyond grateful, inspired and energized to be surrounded by 350 like-minded individuals who chose to spend their afternoon exploring design-driven systems change with us. It was an exciting opportunity to learn from some of Australia’s leading architects and professionals, and we hope you left with fresh ideas and new perspectives. Our goal was to spark meaningful conversations about how we can all play a role—big or small—in shaping the systems around us for the better. We hope the session inspired you to think about the possibilities for positive change in your own work and beyond. More imagery and video content to come! A special thank you to our incredible speakers – Jack Buckskin, Hon. Dr Susan Close, Dan Hill (@cityofsound ), Lucinda McLean (@nmbw_architecture_studio ), Anna Maskiell (@public_realm_lab ), Amelia Borg and Nicholas Braun (@sibling_architecture ). We truly appreciate you sharing/volunteering your time, expertise, and wisdom with all of us. To our Presenting Partner, Rawsons Appliances (@rawsonsappliances ) - Jon, your energy and generosity is a force for good. Thank you! To our many Table Partners, thank you for your support to ensure Future Forum continues to grow its reach and impact. As discussed at the Forum, stay tuned for an expanded program in 2025 kicking off with visit to the Tonsley Innovation Precinct and the State’s first Mass Engineered Timber building – the Tonsley Technical College and Flinders Factory of the Future! #dasstudio #futureforum #makebetter

@das__studio are excited to announce the return of Managing Director @dinovrynios to the SA Chapter Council of @aus_institute_architects for 2024-25. Dino was previously a two-term councillor from 2013 – 2016, during which time he spearheaded the creation of the Festival of Architecture and Design (FAD), #ADLarchigram initiative and the @futureforum_adl and Soapbox events series. Dino’s return aligns with an expanded perspective of the Architecture profession courtesy of his experiences as Director of Das Studio along with @sara_horstmann, having travelled the country as the National Emerging Architect prize winner and his advocacy work for the Department of the Premier and Cabinet, the City of Adelaide (@cityofadelaide) and the Adelaide Economic Development Agency (@aedasa.com.au) We wish him all the best and couldn’t be prouder to have Dino represent the architectural community in South Australia. #architecture #southaustralia #adelaide #advocacy #makebetter
