Goldfish Swim Mom, Dasha, and her family absolutely love the water and have big plans to enjoy it this summer. This is one of the reasons why Dasha made sure all three of her kiddos were enrolled early in swimming lessons, and she just shared this exciting update!

"Our oldest recently graduated Glider 2 and was so happy to start Glider 3 classes this week! 🥳 In this new and advanced level, some of the things he will be working on will be treading water for 45 seconds, being able to do simple backstroke for 1 width, and simple freestyle with side breaths for 1 width. We are so proud of him and excited to see his progress! 🥰"

It’s #DrowningPreventionWeek, and while this is always at the heart of our mission, this week we want to bring extra awareness to it and what we can do together to help make a difference. 🧡

Drowning is the #1 cause of accidental death for kids ages 1-4, but with early swim lessons, education, and constant supervision, it’s something we can prevent.

At Goldfish, we teach essential water safety skills starting as young as 4 months old. Every lesson is designed to build confidence and teach kids how to be safe in and around water.
