APTA 2026 TRANSform & EXPO did not disappoint. Earlier this month I traveled to Chicago with Team @metroforward for the largest public transportation conference in North America. It was great to connect with industry leaders and check out cutting-edge technologies of the future.

Hi there 👋! It was a busy summer (with a bit of a socials break), so here’s a bit of a look back at July! The Pride Ride was a great end to June. Riding the CSX 250 train, stopping by VPRA info tent on the Mt Vernon Trail, attending Alex Renew opening event, stopping by a DASH bus to cool off, Local Progress with Councilmembers Elnoubi and Aguirre, Buster!, celebrating Ethiopian women leaders, and the send off event for our Mayor’s Cup rugby team! #alexandriava #train #bike #alexrenew

Heads up Alexandria: two weekends of track work means Yellow Line service won’t be available September 19-20 and 26-27 – but don’t worry!

During these times, Blue Line trains will alternate between Huntington and Franconia-Springfield as their final destination. Check station signs and your train to make sure you’re headed to the right place!
