Check out #Haitian artist @dashmachete LIVE:

About this incredible talent:

Flaunting sophistication, and class while giving you nostalgia. Dash Machete is a 22-Year-Old Rapper/Singer/DJ from Brooklyn, New York. After migrating from the island-nation of Haiti in 2000, Dash was introduced to Hip Hop in 2003 when her mother bought her a Kelis third album ‘Tasty’. The experimental artist blends house, hip-hop, and RnB while providing an island twist. 🌊

“My mother bought me Kelis’ Tasty album, and that was the first time I really listened to a whole project and I loved it… I was inspired by it.”
With influences that include; Missy Elliot, Fergie, Brittney Spears, Lauren Hill, and Gwen Stefani, her sound roots from electronic pop and classic hip hop.
“Back then, Hip Hop made me want to dance, and that’s the feeling I want to give to my listeners when they hear my music.” Her debut singles "C'mon and "Be Nice" set the tone for her upcoming music. ✨

“I wanted to make a song for wallflowers at parties, for those who didn’t have a have voice. “C’mon” is not only about not being shy on the dance floor, it’s also about not being in your shell in real life. We as human beings tend to step into situations then back off because of our insecurities, doubts, or shyness.” – Dash Machete⚡️

With praise from the likes of HYPEBEAST, Respect Magazine, The Source, and Complex, to name a few, Dash Machete has gained the trust of her listeners who are waiting at the edge of their seats for her next release. 🌟
