Concrete Keeping It Real – Prison Stories
Episode 1, Part 2 – The Unfiltered Raw Truth

In light of the news this morning with Wam Spinthabin, I gotta elaborate on how stupid beef and killing rivals really is. At the end of the day it’s never worth it.

Because truth be told, when the smoke clears and the streets forget, you all end up sitting in the same chow hall together. Eating side by side.

Just ask Lil Bo and Trav from John Doe😢🤦🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️

Make this shit make sense 🤦🏿‍♂️

Two years ago, I walked out of prison after more than 21 years of incarceration—a journey that included 17 years in solitary confinement. My case was among the most high-profile in Florida history, a RICO indictment with charges of over a dozen murders and numerous attempted murders. The State sought the ultimate penalty: death. My future seemed nonexistent, and the life I once knew became a distant memory.

Yet, even in the darkest moments, God was working on me. He took His time to mold me into the man I am today. That transformation wasn’t easy—it came with struggles and resistance. But as anyone who knows God understands, He will humble you and teach you, even in the harshest circumstances.

After countless pre-trial motions, years of litigation, and multiple trials that stretched over a decade, God finally opened the gates, and I walked through the concrete walls that had kept me hidden from the world.

Upon my release, I vowed to honor every prayer and promise I made to God during those years of solitude—and I’m proud to say I am still honoring them today. My life has been nothing short of a blessing. I now own a rental property, run a thriving podcast, and lead a nonprofit organization dedicated to rebuilding the community. These projects, along with many others, are a testament to faith, resilience, and the power of transformation.

But none of this could have been possible without the unwavering support of my family and loved ones, who stood by my side through every trial and tribulation. And to those I met while incarcerated—you are truly God-sent. It’s incredible how deep, meaningful relationships can form in the darkest places.

To my brothers still trapped in the belly of the beast, keep fighting. No one will fight for you harder than you will. But the key is this: you must submit to God. Build that relationship with Him, and let Him guide you through the storm.

To the families of the incarcerated, don’t lose hope. You are often the lifeline your loved one is holding onto. And always remember: nothing is impossible for God.

If you need proof, just look at my story.
