POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

@dance_protocol

The Leeds-rooted hardware head has been active in the scene for well over a decade, with his left field take on tech-house travelling far beyond the UK via releases on Butter Side Up, Small Hours, Long Vehicle Recs, plus a forthcoming record on Helix Discs.

Midge’s approach to music is understated and humble, but most importantly, he’s a laugh and values the fun and unity dance music brings.

After a memorable set at The Haze and BSU boat party at Dimensions this year, we’re beyond excited to have him closing out the club on Saturday 🌀

@sophiebttn

Opening the night is batgirl aka Sophie Batten — a London-based selector with a collection well beyond her years.

Moving effortlessly between deep house and minimal, she brings a sound that’s unmistakably her own.

We’re delighted to book Sophie after being blown away by her selections at various parties around London this year, especially @friendsoffriendsfestival 🌀

Helix’s own come with a bag of deep house oddities and a stack of unreleased label material, hovering between but not limited to the realms of house, minimal and techno 🌀

Artist spotlight ahead of WonderPortal… Data Flow and Inner West

Soundtracking the courtyard will be Portal regulars Data Flow and Inner West.

The Data Flow boys are the brains behind Helix Discs, whose records are carving deeper roots through our niche of dance music. Trusted tastemakers and true diggers, they’ll be sharing the courtyard with Portal’s own Inner West.

10th July at @theglovethatfits
