2026 CHAMPIONS!

Anthony, Daniel Erik & George raced the No. 822 DriveTeq BMW 128i to the finish line, taking both wins in the last weekend of competition, clinching the overall GT1 Championship!

Big thanks to Gerry, Rick, Luca, Tim, and everyone at DriveTeq for such a great season.

Endurance racing is never about one driver, one stint or one lap. It’s about the whole team pulling in the same direction.

From Gerry and Rick running DriveTeq, to Luca turning wrenches, to Tim doing data, to Daniel, Anthony, George and Erik sharing the No. 822, and everyone who helped keep both DriveTeq cars prepared, repaired and on track, every person played a part.

Some contributions happen behind the wheel. Others happen in the pits, in the paddock, in the shop long before the green flag ever drops. That’s what makes endurance racing different. You win together.

Two cars. One team. One championship. 🏆

Sunday belonged to ‘Marilyn’. A fresh set of Bridgestones transformed the No. 822 DriveTeq BMW, and Daniel was on full attack from the green flag, and by Lap 2, he had taken the overall lead. Before his opening stint was finished, Saturday’s seemingly unbeatable Porsche had been put a lap down.

Then the skies opened. 🌧️ Erik, Anthony and George took over, navigating the changing conditions while continuing to stretch the advantage. No coasting, no sandbagging, and no repeat of the late-race drama from Mosport.

After eight hours, big bro George brought Marilyn home first overall, multiple laps clear of the nearest rival. Another GT1 victory for DriveTeq, and one hell of a turnaround from Saturday. 🏁

Man VS Nature. Man VS Machine. CTMP tried to break the No. 822 DriveTeq BMW 128i with blinding fog, driving rain, black flags, and 15 hours of endurance racing. It didn’t work.

Daniel Demaras and co-drivers Anthony, George, and Erik kept digging, kept pushing, and kept putting down fast laps when it mattered most.

The No. 822 didn’t just survive, it conquered CTMP with an overall win in GT1.
