Shooting people having fun is the easiest thing in the world – there's no way to miss a shot when everyone is smiling and having a good time! What made this event special was how comfortable and engaged everyone felt with the camera, creating genuine and playful moments of joy.

Huge thanks to Enzo and Natasha for having me as photographer and photobooth service provider at @gemdance_ studio for the last Encanto Tropical party in YEG Edmonton, Alberta.

2025 Rewind ◁ Thank you, 2025.

This year did not come to save me.
It came to sit me down.

No momentum. No clear direction. No familiar scaffolding to lean on. Just questions I had been avoiding and the quiet work of facing them.

Coming back from Berlin forced a reckoning I could not outrun. Who am I now. Who do I become when the version I built no longer fits.

For a long time it felt like nothing was happening. That scared me. We are taught to measure progress by visibility. Announcements. Proof. But this year was not about outcomes. It was about preparation. A foundation year. Structure rebuilt quietly. Habits formed without applause. Stability replacing urgency.

I rediscovered my relationship with creating. Not for numbers. Not for reach. But for the people I love. Real authenticity is choice. What to share. When to show up. Who gets to see the real version of you. Creating became personal again.

Health anchored me. Boxing stayed. I remembered I am a fighter. Just one who learned how to fight with intention. Without anger. Without running.

Coming home meant family, discomfort, and letting go of shame. I do not need to be understood by everyone. I need to be honest.

The Philippines reminded me who I am patterned by. Service over display. Presence over performance. Abundance as people staying.
There is a word in Tagalog. Sayang. What a waste. I no longer accept it. Nothing is wasted when you are present. Nothing is lost when you are learning.

2025 did not make me successful.
It made me honest. Stronger. Grounded.

This was not the destination. It was the preparation.
Thank you to everyone who walked beside me. Even briefly.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ QUINTET CHAMPIONS @frontline_bjj 🏆 a strong, technical and unified team!!! Many coaches and athletes understanding competing and cornering on the same day is no easy task… it’s why you rarely see anyone do it. Except for Coach @passarinhojj and his team. Huthayfah led his team to victory and himself won the main event super fight.

After a very impressive 5x submission rate in the finals from @lars_kaliel Frontline leads victorious in our first quintet tournament. We’re proud to see this team continue excel and be a part of dominating every local and global competition. Ossss
