THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART ❤️🙏🏾

Wow… where do I even begin?! Yesterday, DMV ROAD 2 Success’ 12th Annual Back to School Drive was a MAJOR success! 🎒📚✏️❤️

After seeing the forecast calling for storms, heavy rain, and strong winds throughout the day, I was honestly so stressed. The day before the event, I didn’t know what to do. On one hand, I wanted to cancel, but on the other hand, something in my spirit told me to PUSH THROUGH! I didn’t want all the hard work, time, love, and preparation to go to waste.

So I prayed… and guess what? MY GOD HEARD MY PRAYERS! 🙏🏾🙌🏾

Despite the heavy rain, the sun came out, and to my surprise, the event went on and was incredibly successful! 🌞❤️

I want to take a moment to THANK EVERY SINGLE PERSON who helped make yesterday possible.

First, to ALL OF OUR AMAZING VOLUNTEERS — THANK YOU! ❤️ You all worked your tails off! From setup and preparation to working through the rain, you never complained. You showed up, you worked hard, and you helped make this event happen. YOU GUYS ROCK! 🙌🏾🔥

A HUGE thank you to DJ Cheno for coming back once again and DJing our event! 🎶🎧 I truly appreciate you, fam, for always showing love and supporting us. ❤️Duy Mitchell

Special shoutout to Smoke in the Air for coming through AGAIN this year and working the grill despite the rain! 🔥🍗 Your patience, dedication, and hard work are unmatched. You both are simply THE BEST! ❤️ Smoke in the Air Barbecue and Catering

Thank you to Balloons by Eboni for the beautiful balloon arrangement! 🎈 It looked amazing, and we truly appreciate your support.

To all of the local bakers who donated goodies — cupcakes, cookies, cake pops, snacks, and more — THANK YOU! 🧁🍪🍰 The kids absolutely loved everything! Your generosity means so much to us. ❤️ Myisha Hagler TNT Cakery & Treats

A special thank you to Luther’s Lovely and Kivi’s Cooler for the delicious water ice! 🍧 The kids loved it, and it was definitely a BIG HIT! 🙌🏾
