DAVID MESKHI | PARIS PHOTO

As Paris Art Week takes center stage, we’re bringing back a highlight from our Paris Photo 2022 selection, presented in collaboration with Galerie Anita Beckers, Frankfurt.

Drawing from gymnastics, skateboarding and youth culture, @datomeskhi_ captures bodies suspended between movement and stillness. His photographs reveal a delicate balance between strength, vulnerability and freedom.

✨Selected works are available. For artwork inquiries and private viewings, please get in touch with our team.

Art and sports converge in this new project we are currently working on and for me it feels like a beautiful fullcircle moment. As a former athlete - now managing a contemporary art institution - bridging these two worlds has always been a dream. By a fortunate coincidence with David Meskhi winning the Tbilisi Public Art Fund’s open call, everything clicked, allowing us to build this vision together.
It is truly unique and at this moment - very much a work in progress as David continues to shape the final vision..
Deeply grateful to everyone who is involved and helping us to bring this to life. Huge thank-yous to follow soon. 🇬🇪✊
