Dalya & Shalom… they made their own vibe - it doesn’t look like any “uniformity” in different denominations. They just are. And it’s so freeing.

Practice with love.
Your experience is yours.

Do religious Jews have a uniform look? What boxes do we all check?

Baruch Hashem!!!

A new baby Prince has entered the world!
From bris to bar mitzvah and beyond, we are stoked to watch him and help him grow into the full light he is meant to be!

Mama rocked this home birth and is doing really well bh

Blessing us all for the gates to open in the areas we hope and pray for, and also the spaces we're not even anticipating!

Tznius Chic’. Lol. Be modest & still feel free and beautiful. Did you know that’s possible?

Fun fact- the word for modesty in Hebrew is Tzanua- which also means “hidden.”

We learn here that modesty is essentially about being hidden. Ok, but aren’t we meant to spread light... aren’t we meant to SHINE our true colors?

Yes, yes, yes. Do that!! Pls pls do that! Shine ur light and spread ur true colors to the world- seriously, we really need you to become your self.

That’s another thing about modesty. Modesty is a lot about hiding your raw SELF... which implies you really need to know who you are. That’s a pretty deep thing. Gosh. KNOW THY SELF???????? Ok but according to who???? And when??? Cuz like we all know that when we are around different people and in different environments, we literally turn into different people ourselves.... ooooohhhh girl Mia u getting intellectual!!!

Ok, but back to the “hiddenness” thing for a second- one of the main purpose or energy of Modesty is not to attract so much attention to your self in a LOUD way. Modesty honestly has a LOT to do with being Humble.

Omg so much to say. I’ve been learning crazy halachas and Torah’s about being humble... it gets really deep and sooo much better haha.

OK THAT’S ALL FOR NOW.

I hope ur a little curious just to learn more about ur roots and the trait of modesty, WHICH BY THE WAY IS JUST AS MUCH ABOUT A PERSONS CHARACTER THAN IT IS ABOUT OUR GARMENTS!

Wow that’s deep. Haha.

K I am officially now open for ur comments or thoughts or questions, or even just a heart emoji to know that u are here and in love. 💜

*UPDATE* Omg I realized something else - modesty is so much about finding ur SELF, ur SOUL PURPOSE in this life... and that takes time and dedication.... but rly just a lot of prayer, hitbodedut, and desire to realize the truth and succeed.

K bye there’s so much to say. Let’s vibe in the comments.

This year has been nothing I could have imagined.
✨
I spent the last decade on an artistic journey, not knowing what I wanted.
✨
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been working on being a songwriter with various art mediums interrupting the journey but I always went back to songwriting.
✨
I built a recording studio in my bedroom in 2020 to record my music and had no idea where that journey would take me
✨
In February 2022, I felt I was finally ready to start working on my album. I reached out to different artists around nachlaot to be a part of it which then led me to the fabulous human @jen.mand , who suggested I open an Instagram account, and Bedroom Records was created.
✨
Everything just started falling into place. We created Shop&Rock, NachlaheART, the upcycle movement, and collaborated with many talented artists. I’m so blessed to have a fantastic team who have helped me reach this place, and I’m so excited to keep growing and share the journey with you all
✨
Thank you to everyone who’s been on this ride in 2022, and I hope to keep growing and bringing light into this world with you all
