What’s the difference between a drum major and a field conductor? I bumped into Marley and Davon, who are DCI field conductors, and asked them to explain the difference. Plus, they share a few tips on how to become a drum major in high school and break into the drum corps scene as a field conductor. #drummajor #dci #boa #marchingband #drumcorps

BOA Grand Nationals!

This weekend, I had the opportunity to see BOA finals! I was able to meet and talk to so many amazing people, as well as see the behind the scenes and make some content with @sicommand! It was so incredible being in Lucas Oil again, and I can’t wait to be back soon! :)

It's been over 2 weeks since wrapping up the most challenging chapter of my life, and I'm still struggling to find the right words to describe how it feels.

Three years after showing up to what was supposed "just one audition camp" gave me the honor to age out at a place that became my home. How lucky am I to have found such an wonderful family.

I'm incredibly grateful my parents who have believed in me every step of way. Grateful to the volunteers who are the backbone of this activity. Grateful for @brookestelmokasphotos @cfqphotos for capturing the moments that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Grateful to @leeroy418 and @leah.d123 for believing in me and my leadership, and all the mentors that have helped me get to where I am.

And finally, thank you to the members. Thank you for being the reason I returned twice and aged out at this organization. Thank you for inspiring me every day with your grit and your undeniable talent. It was all for you and it will always be for you.

Thank you, Spartans. Thank you, DCI.
