🎙️ From Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, to pursuing his dreams in Galway, Ireland, Kellidion shares his incredible journey on the Guddoers Podcast. In this inspiring interview, Kellidion opens up about growing up in Benin City, discovering his love for music through his father's traditional songs, and why music became the easiest way for him to express his emotions. He also shares: ✅ Growing up as a shy and introverted child ✅ His dream of becoming either a musician or an electrical engineer ✅ Sneaking out of boarding school to record his very first song 🎵 ✅ How he created the name "Kellidion" ✅ His biggest musical influences—from traditional music to legends of the '70s and '80s, as well as artists like Rema ✅ Why he believes music is spiritual ✅ The secret behind his unique sound, blending traditional African music with modern pop ✅ The emotional story behind his unreleased song, "Drowning" ✅ How Galway transformed his music career One of the most touching moments in the interview is when Kellidion speaks about Dave Kody, the producer and mentor who believed in him from the beginning. From recording songs for free to driving him to the studio every day for almost a year, Dave Kody played a huge role in helping shape Kellidion's journey. Kellidion also shares why he'll always be grateful to Galway and the people who supported him, saying that without them, he wouldn't be where he is today.
