A moment I’ll remember forever. 🏆🌿

Chameleon Corridors won Best African Film, Best Innovative Wildlife Storytelling, and the Nkaang’ Award, the highest honour at PWFF, Africa’s biggest wildlife film festival.

Nkaang’ means “home” in Maasai, which feels beautifully fitting for a festival that has become a home for African wildlife stories and storytellers.

Huge thanks to the PWFF team, and especially founder Fiona Tande, for championing African talent and giving our stories the stage they deserve.

This film was made by a fully Tanzanian crew, in Swahili, in the Eastern Arc Mountains, and its authenticity is exactly what helped it travel around the world. Congrats to our amazing team!

I hope more African storytellers feel inspired to tell our stories bravely, in our own way.

And if you love African wildlife and storytelling, be at the next PWFF.

Next chapter: Our impact campaign led by @siminickman supported by @earthalliance will be taking the film back across the Eastern Arc Mountains and using it to build pride, connection, visibility and protection for this extraordinary landscape. 🦎🌍

Still reflecting on an amazing time in Mombasa, Kenya 🇰🇪✨

The PWFF Festival (@pwffest )gave me the opportunity to learn, connect with incredible people, and gain valuable experience. Every conversation and every moment was worth it.

tarehe 13 Disemba 2025 Chuo cha uhasibu Arusha (IAA) kimezindua klabu iitwayo "Unite Club" ambayo itasaidia wanafunzi kujiandaa kujitegemea, kuwa viongozi bora,kuchangia maendeleo endelevu ya jamii na kuwa mawakala wa mabadiliko chanya ulimwenguni.

Awali akiwasilisha mada Mwezeshaji wa Klabu hii David Bitaho amesema klabu hii inatoa udhamini kwa wanafunzi, kukuza vipaji na bunifu mbalimbali, uongozi kwenye nyanja nyingi na kufanya kampeni mbalimbali kama za kuwasaidia watu wasiojiweza na utunzaji mazingira hususani upandaji wa miti.

Akizungumza na wanafunzi katika uzinduzi huo Kaimu Meneja wa Kampasi ya Arusha, Bi. Ester Salahot amesema, klabu hii italeta mchango mkubwa ambapo inawaleta wanafunzi pamoja, kutanua wigo mpana na kukutana na watu mbalimbali wenye ujuzi tofauti kwa ajili ya kuongeza maarifa zaidi ya elimu wanayopata chuoni ili kujikwamua kimaisha.

Aidha, Bi. Salahot ametoa wito kwa wanafunzi waanzilishi wa klabu hiyo kutoa elimu kwa wenzao kuhusu umuhimu wa klabu hii na kuwahamasisha kujiunga ili waweze kunufaika na klabu hiyo wawapo chuoni na hata baada ya kuhitimu masomo yao.

Kwa upande wao wanafunzi walioshriki katika uzinduzi huo wamesema klabu hiyo imekuja kwa wakati muafaka na kupitia elimu wanayopata IAA na maarifa watakayopata
kupitia klabu hiyo itakuwa chachu katika kufikia ndoto zao.

"Klabu hii itakuwa mwangaza mkubwa katika kutimiza ndoto zetu kama wanafunzi kwa kuwa itatupa nafasi ya kushiriki programu mbalimbali zitakazotujenga kiuwezo na kutuandaa kuwa viongozi ", alisema Vicent Valence.

" Tunawashukuru 'Unite Club' kwa kuendelea kutufungua kuwa tunahitaji maarifa na ujuzi zaidi ya elimu tunayopata vyuoni kwamba tunapaswa kuwekeza pia kwa ajili ya maendeleo yetu binafsi na jamii", alisema Jackline Mbawala.

Uzinduzi huu umefanyika kwa kauli mbiu isemayo Unite Club "Sign of Victory".
