I tried my best to remember to get pictures with some of my friends at @8750festival this weekend. I only captured a very small portion of the folks that make this festival feel like home. Already looking forward to next year!

Giant Blue Crab. They grow big along the Texas Gulf coast. But oh so sweet and tasty.

Forgot about Vegas. Didn’t manage to capture much but we had a big time. Take the taxis and don’t pee in them trees. Did not get to see Wayne Newton.

Last night the Jennings family hosted me and my friend’s for the annual end of the NFR wrap dinner. While I was sitting next to Bronco @davebethwillj , he asked where I got my rings and I told him about the first one ever got was at Rendezvous in pinedale WY when I first got sober and reminded me to tell him about the project I had mention to him last year.

I told him the team and I finished and put out the reel for the first episode to the docuseries I had been wanting to do all of these years. Especially this one being that the Richie Family are a big reason I am the man I am today after getting sober. I asked him if he had ever shot Eb Richie, he said it sounded familiar. I remembered I had photos of Eb riding bulls back in the 80s that we put in the reel. Coming to find out Bronco had taken them! His watermark was on them but I never paid attention to it. A full circle… I told him had passed at the beginning of the year that I had made a promise to Eb that I would immortalize him forever so his grandkids and my kids and anyone that would follow my story would know who he was and what his family had done for me.

After dinner Will Jennings @will_reed_jennings gave me my first Bad Company patch @badcorodeo and was put on my hat by a woman I admire and call sister that introduced me to this family @knicholeg . I can’t Thank y’all for enough for letting me part of y’all’s family. Love yall! I’ll see y’all sooner than later 🪶

Had a wonderful time playing at @junebugs_bbq in the rear of the very plush @alberthotelfbgtx in Fredericksburg, TX last night. It’s always such a pleasure making music with @katieshoremusic . The BBQ was top notch, so was the atmosphere, and the accommodations are 5 star. Also, I’m pretty sure that little Dakota Lynn stole the show. Big thanks to our friends Dave and Beth Jennings @davebethwillj for coming out, as well as my supernaturally talented amigo, artist @tresduece58 for making the trip to hear us. Go check out his paintings. Unreal. Waking up to a cool hill country morning with my babies. Thanks to @mtpipkin for having us out. Happy birthday weekend @butterflies_rainbows 😘 🎂

Next stop, enchanted rock 🏔️🥾
