Years and years of dreams come true 💫 @mydeelux is coming to Highland Park in L.A.! It's hard to explain how much this means to me but I'll try. This is the neighborhood Justine and I moved to 10 years ago, when we started dreaming about having our own store. This is the building (well half of it) where we both worked in, the @kitchenmousela gift shop, where we built our community. This is a family collaboration and the evolution of DeeLux, which my parents started as a tiny vintage store in Riverside when we were just babies. This is the fourth generation of self made entrepreneurs - the continued dream of my great grandparents who came from Mexico in the 1920s. This is a gift made from resilience, hard work, imagination, and immigration. I dont take it for granted. If it weren't for immigrants, y'all wouldn't even be in style, just sayin. 🫶🏽🇲🇽 Come see us when we open in April!

Tales of life and friends and pets #dump?

Alsoooooo
Listen up!!!!
I’m playing my first show in months & months (it’s been awhile!) this Monday!! Please come out if you can because I will have 2 very special guest appearances!!!!
Can you guess what instrument I am adding to half of my set?! It is an emotional instrument. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to cry / feel things at Club TeeGee, one of the coolest bars in LA! 🥹 playing with @iamjennprince and @jaelangreen , my cool / talented friends 🫶🏼
Been wanting to grieve and not do music during this hard time, because it feels pointless… but it really is healing and we should continue to do healing things.

Please donate to families in Gaza. Link in bio for a list!! I will give you a vinyl record of my first album if you donate at least 20 and send me a screen shot!! I will ship it to you or give it to you if you’re my friend and close by.

@dcardphotos took these great pictures of our big show on Thursday! It was a grand old time for sure. We were having a ball & we’re excited to have our man @davebobbrown join us for a song. He’ll be playing that stage in May, so keep an eye out for that.

Matt & I are bringing the duo back to Redlands in one week! February 3 we’re playing for a sidewalk fair out in front of the Redlands Fox Theater building at 127 Cajon Street, from 11am-2pm. Come on out!

Thanks again to all that made it out on Thursday. The Smiley Live concert series is really doing magical stuff. ❤️
