Thursday 11 June 8pm: Dave Bristow Quintet 🎵

Dave Bristow @davebristow is a pianist and composer from Birmingham, hailed by critics and contemporaries alike as one of the most promising talents in European jazz. After moving to Paris he won praise for the flair and originality of his original compositions, featured on his celebrated debut album, ‘Unknown, Unknown’. Tonight Dave will be performing material from his latest, excellent, release “Sides”, a compelling statement from a pianist-composer steadily carving out a distinctive voice on the European jazz scene. Also featuring Dave’s regular Parisian band: @christianalte Christian Altehülshorst-trumpet, @felixhardouinjaazz Félix Hardouin-alto sax, @gabrielpierre_bass Gabriel Pierre-bass & @wisedrum Guillaume Prévost-drums.

"an astonishing artist, full of ideas…one of the brightest talents to emerge out of the UK for quite some time" Couleurs Jazz
