A nice start to summer. Shows, sunshine, vows, and helicopters.

I'm very grateful to spend Mother's Day weekend celebrating my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. Watching my parents work hard to get a little better every day, enjoy life just a little more, love each other better, and face every challenge as a team is something I’ll never take for granted. I love you, mom! Happy Mother’s Day and I'm so happy to celebrate with you!

Still feeling the effects of being surrounded by beautiful people and so much love. I didn’t take nearly enough photos.

“Your future is whatever you make it, so make it a good one” - Doc Brown. @jonathan_colomb and @benteingrid have built the most beautiful present, filled with people who love them. To be surrounded by it and invited into it is a gift. Judging by last night, the future is going to be so good. I love you both beyond measure and I can’t wait for a lifetime of celebrations like this!

My dad used to let me watch CNN with him and argue about politics when I was way too young to know anything. He never made me feel dumb. He always treated my opinion like it mattered, even when I was ardently arguing for Ross Perot (listen, I was 8). Now, when things are totally wild and I have a lot more information to work with, my dad still listens. He is willing to have difficult conversations about race and feminism that I don’t think a lot of retired white guys are having with their daughters. I’m so grateful to have a dad that is excited to learn with me. I’m forever grateful for having such an amazing dad. Happy Father’s Day Pops!
