POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Still taking in his special this Saturday night was! 🇨🇺🇺🇸🇪🇸💛

Performing at @bridgestonearenaofficial for the @predsnhl Hispanic Heritage Night with my full band meant so much to me, as I had an opportunity to share my Latin roots and predominately perform in Spanish.

My Cuban and Spanish heritage has always been such a huge part of who I am. I grew up in Miami surrounded by vibrant culture, music, food, traditions, and incredible multicultural spirit. Nashville has since become my home and given me another community and musical family that I love deeply.

To stand in the heart of Music City and celebrate both of those parts of my story on one stage was something I’ll never forget.

Thank you to the @predsnhl for creating a night that celebrates Hispanic culture and for inviting me and my band to be part of it. And thank you to everyone who celebrated with us. What a night! 💙💛

I loved chatting with you all about how my lyrics and music come together, but the biggest part of it all is you, the people who listen, connect, and give these songs a life beyond the stage. 🤍🎶

From the inception of a song to the final product, there are so many steps, and so many incredible musicians, producers, mixers, and creatives who help bring the music to life. 🎶🤍

My time in the master’s program at @harvard shaped so much of the way I approach songwriting. Even a fairytales class found its way into my music and helped inspire “Rabbit Hole.” 📚🎶

My parents and grandparents migrated to the USA from Cuba in the 1960’s. I learned Spanish to communicate with my grandparents, but it ultimately opened me up to a whole world of cultures and music. 🤍

Shades 🕶️, @lucchese boots, and red dress ✅ !! Nothing is more fun than performing at a summer outdoor festival. #CMAfest week has been a blast so far. I was thrilled to sing several of my tunes in English and Spanish for the crowd at @plazamariachi for the OMG Block Party presented by @originsmusicgroup !! Thank u @coreyjones8130 @stephen_miller61 @dreavasquez for including me and to everyone who was a part of making this happen.

❤️Jeannie❤️ … I am so thankful that my friend, and incredible guitarist, @davedaeger had this photo saved. This was backstage with Jeannie, John and Dave after my @opry debut show on November 2019, performing my songs, “Tough Love Woman” and “Broken Roses”and Dave accompanied me on stage so beautifully on guitar. Jeannie was so reassuring and very kind that night, as she always was. She was a peaceful presence on that special evening. She had a wonderful sense of humor. Rest in power. 🙏#jeannieseely
