I'm a bit late to the Christmas party! But I do have some exciting news to share.

First an IG re-introduction is overdue. A warm welcome to you all in my space 🩵 I'm grateful to have you all here.

I’m honoured to be mother to 3 sparky children, twin girls Inka & Piera (13) and our son Idar (11) and wife to my husband & best friend Ian. We live a transient lifestyle between Fife & the Orkney Islands, Scotland.

My creative practice is diverse. As a multifaceted human, I will continue to share my herbalism journey & shortly open the curtains on more exciting creative projects I’ve been working on.

Some may know I have a background in Interior Design, a BA in literature and a MA in book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art. All as a mature student as I was a bit of a rebel at school 😝

My illustration journey was put on the ice shelf for a few years during the universal reshuffling of we all know what! Our lives, like many others, were turned upside down & everything as we knew it changed overnight. It was an overwhelmingly profound experience to process.

We moved 700 miles North from Norfolk, England to the remote Islands of Orkney, Scotland. We left behind many cherished humans that we loved & had shared deep parts of our lives with (we miss you all). Having spent the formative years of my childhood on Sanday Island, this move felt like a long awaited homecoming. Things have become more luxurious since the 1980’s, foremost we have electricity and I no longer milk goats for my morning porridge 🙈

Our time on the Islands opened up space in our lives for us to journey through a deep healing mind body process & within this space my playfulness was rebirthed. I rediscovered my inner spark & created new exciting projects. Terrifyingly, I'll be sharing these with the world over my next posts & stories this week.

That’s quite a lot about me! What about you? I’m always amazed at the diverse followers that follow my journey from around the globe ❤️🌍 I would love to hear your journeys & shares in the comments below 👇🩵
