@forgottenislandmovie !!! Yesterday’s plan was foiled bc sold out so we had to do it today and some friends couldn’t join. Front row was actually nice with the fancy chairs etc! #ForgottenIslandmovie was incredible! I laughed out loud, cheered, and ugly cried. Our favourite parts:
- plot line, art direction/character design/vis dev, ALL the characters, esp Jo, Raissa, Raww, Prince Mermahn’s “stars”, #manang, Truffle Wuffle. Loved all the #filipino references—barrel man the kids noticed references to how to train your dragon and Will Smith. #karaokedad #tsinelashowdown all the mythology Love that it was girl nerd besties the songs were insane loved inxs. Was hoping for outtakes and a film title shot, but found it outside the theatre. LOVE this film!!

A huge thank you to Universal Studios for inviting me to the advance screening of Forgotten Island! 🎬😊

Wow — this could be my new favourite animated film! The story delivers a beautiful message about friendship, the importance of making memories, and the special bonds we build with people in our lives. ❤️

The animation is fantastic, the soundtrack is brilliant, and the cast is great. There were even moments where I thought I was watching anime! 😂

A heartfelt, visually stunning and entertaining adventure from start to finish.

⭐ 10/10 — absolutely loved it! 😊🎬

Когда за дело берутся Дэйв Франко и Мэйкон Блэр, глупо ждать чинной голливудской истории. Их совместный проект - это яростный, пропитанный бензином и черным юмором оммаж классическим криминальным комедиям эпохи VHS, который умудряется выглядеть ультрасовременным. Фильм работает как идеально отлаженный, хоть и слегка помятый в авариях двигатель, выдавая чистый, незамутненный адреналин с первой до последней минуты.

История сталкивает двух абсолютных неудачников, находящихся на социальном дне. Циничный, сквернословящий Марк (Дэйв Франко) отчаянно нуждается в деньгах. Его напарником становится Дэвис (О’Ши Джексон-младший) - набожный, но крайне непутевый идеалист, только что потерявший работу. Сомнительная контора нанимает эту парочку для простого, на первый взгляд, задания: перевезти в реабилитационный центр Шеридана (Мэйсон Тэмз) - неуправляемого подростка из очень богатой семьи.

План рушится в первые же минуты. Шеридан, страдающий от жесткой зависимости, оказывается не просто капризным мальчишкой, а настоящим манипулятором без морального компаса. Он симулирует уязвимость, втирается в доверие к своим горе-охранникам, а затем сбегает, утягивая героев в водоворот из наркотиков, криминальных разборок и чистого безумия.

Появление таких харизматиков, как Питер Динклэйдж, Кирнан Шипка и Николас Браун, превращает каждую случайную встречу на американском хайвее в отдельный бенефис.

Главные герои сыграны с той степенью трогательной глупости, которая заставляет зрителя искренне им сопереживать. Это обычные парни, чья главная суперсила - умение импровизировать в самый неподходящий момент.

This scene will forever be funny. They killed this! Zoë Kravitz and Dave Franco both star as highly exaggerated, drug-fueled versions of themselves in this Apple TV+ comedy series. The pair appear in the frenetic back-to-back finale episodes (9 and 10), attending a wild, drug-laced CinemaCon party in Las Vegas.

Because of the show’s style, the cast had to perform complex physical comedy in single, unbroken takes that sometimes lasted up to six minutes. The first season took the industry by storm, securing 23 Primetime Emmy nominations to become the most-nominated comedy debut in history, ultimately winning 13 Emmys, including Outstanding Comedy Series.
