Being here as a family has been so special !
The deep exhale it is for us a family, on so many levels.
It is celebratory, and preparatory in one.
A closing of an incredibly hard chapter & the opening of another.

To be in such togetherness for an extended time, is so heavenly. To see the weight lifted off my man’s shoulders, and for him to truely be with us for days and days on end, heavenly.
To see our children’s pure innocence, wonder & love through this experience, heavenly.
To be relived of some of the monotony of everyday mothering continuously and to really be with my family, heavenly.

It’s also nostalgic in that mine and Dave’s first overseas trip as a couple was to NZ - we went to Queenstown and Christchurch for me to meet his dad. We snowboarded ( & heli boarded ! ) ate and drank, and basked in each other obsessively, being so fresh in our relationship, although I’m not sure that has stopped 🥰
It’s wild to think that here we are 10 years later, back here, with our three incredible children.

Thank you NZ, we love you ! 🤍🗻
